Jessie Fell (she/her) is a certified Intimacy Coordinator for Film & TV. She trained under Amanda Blumenthal with the SAG-AFTRA accredited Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA). She has also done extensive training with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC).

Jessie has over fifteen years’ experience in the industry as a HOD, working on productions for HBO Max, Amazon Prime, BBC, Apple TV, Channel 4 and Sky Atlantic. Jessie’s years of experience collaborating with actors, directors and crew as an HOD in HETV, at a time when Intimacy Coordination did not exist, informs and elevates her approach to IC work.  Jessie encourages a safe & collaborative space on set, where everyone can thrive creatively during intimate scenes. Her unique set of skills, enable her to negotiate sympathetically between everyone involved in a production with sensitivity, understanding and humour.

 With a comprehensive understanding of production dynamics and qualification in MHFA (Mental Health First Aid), she has honed her skills and ability to work effectively in both high-stress and time-sensitive filming environments.  Jessie has had specialised training in a number of areas, such as trauma-informed care, kink & BDSM, diversity & inclusion and Intimacy in comedy.

 Jessie also has a background in movement and performance.  She has specific IPA training in choreography for intimate scenes as well as training in movement direction and choreology with experts Viola Bruni and Olga Masleinnkova.  She performs as a Drag King and has many years of experience in stand-up comedy/storytelling.  She also has training in clowning and improv.  

Jessie has lectured and given talks at Bournemouth University, The Watersprite film festival and for Film London’s Equal access network.  As a POC & queer individual she is aware of the importance of diversity and inclusion (of all kinds) within the industry. She is currently a member of BECTU’s TV Drama Diversity working group and the Intimacy Coordinator branch committee.
